Digital Mechanical Artist

We are looking for an individual for regularly scheduled part time work as a digital mechanical artist in our growing studio. Someone who is adept at creating press ready artwork from comps and can see a project through all phases of production. Attention to detail and ability to manage time and process are key. Possible full time position for the right person. While this role is a valued and crucial element of our studio, if your qualifications don’t match, we are looking for an Art Director/Jr Designer as well. Please see our other post.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Extensive knowledge of Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator.
• Maniacal attention to detail and specifications.
• Comprehensive understanding of print production processes and color management.
• Obsessive file and job folder management.
• Masterful retouching.

Jr Designer / Art Director to work with the Executive Art Director, Designers, and a team of Account Executives to create strategy driven concepts and layouts for a wide variety of projects.
